Stonehenge Half-Day Tour
Your admission to Stonehenge is included. This is valued at £25. This includes on-site shuttle bus, admission to the monument and downloadable audio guide. It also includes a ticket to the visitor facilities and exhibition. We arrive at 9.30am and are usually one of the first groups at Stonehenge ahead of the crowds. We spend 2 hours at Stonehenge to allow a relaxed visit, and depart again at 11.30am. We are usually back in London by 1.30pm.
Constructed during the Neolithic period by Stone Age farmers, this site is a place of unique importance. Marvel at the size of the stones, and imagine Stone-Age people working together to put this impressive monument in place. Enjoy the exhibition, which offers some possible explanations for the existence of Stonehenge, and interprets the Stone Age and what life was like at that time.
